Pack 508 is open to any boy or girl in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our Pack is the oldest continuously chartered Cub Scout pack in Saratoga, California. We have been proudly serving this community since 1965! Although most of our activities take place during the school year, our Pack runs year round with activities in the summer as well. Pack 508 has earned the National Summertime Pack Award for the last three years! Join us anytime for a fun and rewarding experience!

We officially have 41 cars checked in and ready to go - amazing! Plus, for the first time, we will have the Outlaws that will race down the track! A HUGE thank you to all our parent-volunteers this week who served as inspectors - Gabe, Jeff, Nick, Angel, Thiru, and Andrew!
February Pack Meeting

In this meeting, the Webelos 2 (Arrow of Light) den will be teaching the younger scouts a skill. We'll also be reviewing some information before our upcoming pinewood derby.

Are you ready for the holiday season and for some good old pies in the face! For our December Pack meeting we’ll be wrapping up our Popcorn Fundraiser and announcing the prize winners. As part of our fundraiser tradition, the top popcorn sellers will be able to pie our Cubmaster or one of our Pack leaders in the face! It’s a great way for our Scouts to end the year with a splash or better yet a whip cream splat!
We’ll also be kicking off our Pinewood Derby season. Our Pinewood Derby coordinators will present the details for the Derby Event coming up early next year and we’ll hand out the Pinewood Derby car kits to the Scouts to take home for the holidays.
November Pack Meeting/ Winter Carnival

Are you ready for some fun and games!!! As part of our Pack tradition, the Bear Den will be hosting the Winter Carnival for our November Pack Meeting. For this event, the Bear Den will be putting together a number of carnival games for the Pack to play. This event is always one of our Scouts' favorite events.
The Winter Carnival is part of the Bear Den's "Grin and Bear It" adventure. It helps teach the Bear Scouts how to work together to create the carnival games as a team. It also gives them a chance to teach younger Scouts how to play the games and take part in the fun.
So get ready to "knock them down", "get those ringers" and "get them buckets"! We'll see you at the Winter Carnival!
October Pack Meeting

Our Wolf Den is hosting our next Pack 508 meeting on Thursday, October 14th at 7pm. We would like to invite your scout to participate in the meeting and complete a service project making hygiene kits for the homeless in Silicon Valley.
Our goal is to make 200 kits that will be dropped off at a local shelter and distributed to men and women currently experiencing homelessness. We need your help and support in tackling this important project. We ask that each scout contributes $10 worth of items for the kits (this is just a suggestion, you can choose to purchase more or less).

These items should be TRAVEL SIZE and are easily found at the dollar store or can be purchased on Amazon.
The evening should be a great opportunity to build compassion in our kids and encourage them to take action when they see a problem in their community. Hope to see you there.
September Pack Meeting
September 9th, 2021 at Saint Andrew’s School Playground
This Pack Meeting was our Popcorn Fundraiser Kick-off! Our Popcorn Kernels for this year, Grace and Renuka, led the meeting and spoke to our Scouts about the fundraiser activities this year. We are going to aim high and try to make $6,000 in sales. There are lots of great prizes available to the Scouts to try and earn. The fan favorite reward “pie the Cubmaster in the face” is back. Maybe we’ll even get Scouts to pie the Assistant Cubmaster and some of the Den Leaders too! During the meeting we also had the Dens form teams to help make a popcorn video together. It was a lot of fun seeing the Scouts come up with crazy ideas for the video and actually start recording parts of the videos. The videos will give the Scouts a boost to help encourage family and friends to contribute to our popcorn fundraiser.

Pack Information Night

Summer Campout
August 20th - 22nd , 2021 at SCCPOA Campgrounds
Our Summer campout was a blast! It was great for the Scouts and Families to get outdoors, make new friends, play together, laugh together and enjoy each others' company.
The Pack went on a hike, had awesome campfire events each night, participated in fun Den and craft activities; and we can't forget about the parent ping pong tournament!
This hopefully will be the start of a new summertime campout tradition for our Pack!
